Wakro, your general contractor for process lines since 1994
Since the early 1990s, we have been designing, manufacturing, and assembling equipment for bulk materials and liquids.
We specialize in the following processes: storage, transport, mixing, weighing, dosing, drying, and packaging of bulk materials, as well as dry air purification.
Establishment of Wakro. Partners Roman Warowny, Krzysztof Borycki and Wacław Szczerba establish Wakro and rent a small workshop on the premises of POM Krapkowice.
Commencement of operations at the Krapkowice plant. The company decides to lease a hall and office space in the former Oprem plant on Limanowskiego Street in Krapkowice.
Completion of construction and relocation of the plant to Krępna.
As a result of systematic growth in the scale of its operations, Wakro decides that it is necessary to build a new plant for the Company from scratch in Krępna, in the municipality of Zdzieszowice.
Establishment of a research and development department.
Based on nearly two decades of experience, it has become clear that in order to provide comprehensive solutions to our contractors, it is necessary to establish a research and development department that will allow us to test proposed solutions in industrial conditions.
Obtaining the status of a Research and Development Center granted by the Ministry of Development and Technology.
After meeting the stringent requirements set by the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Company has succeeded in obtaining the status of a Research and Development Center, as one of only a few dozen entities across all industries.
Opening of the WAKRO design department in Gliwice.
In search of the highest quality engineering staff, the Company decides to launch a remote design department in the Silesian Province.
Completion of construction and launch of the steel processing hall.
The Company’s continuous development necessitated the expansion of its production space, resulting in the construction of another production building at the Company’s plant in Krępna.
Launch of a new research and development hall.
The growing demand for comprehensive technological solutions led to the decision to expand the research and implementation department with an additional hall with an area of over 500 m². As a result, the department now has a laboratory and halls with trial production lines, with a total area of almost 900 m².

Our customers are mostly companies associated with industries such as construction chemicals, household chemicals, mineral resources, energy, foundry, and ceramics. Most of our products are used in the construction, cement and lime, and food industries.
Our design office develops and implements new technologies in industry, while expanding our product range.
We use advanced CAD and MES software in our design work, which means that all documentation for our equipment is produced in electronic form, streamlining the work process and allowing us to meet all customer expectations. Our team of designers and engineers provides professional assistance and technical advice in determining customer needs.

Due to its constant focus on development and innovation, WAKRO was one of the few companies in Poland to obtain the status of a Research and Development Center in 2017.
