Hammer crushers are versatile size-reduction machines in which the crushing process takes place through dynamic impacts of high-speed hammers that impart high kinetic energy to the material.
The material is fed into the working chamber, where—under the influence of centrifugal force, repeated hammer impacts, and friction against the working and screen surfaces—it undergoes gradual fragmentation.
Flexible Granulation Adjustment
The degree of fragmentation depends on several operating parameters: rotor speed, number and mass of the hammers, their angle of installation, as well as the type and mesh size of the installed screen. Thanks to this, hammer crushers allow flexible adjustment of granulation to meet technological requirements, achieving both medium and fine product fractions.
Technical Parameters
The technical parameters, size, and equipment of the machines are always selected individually based on process specifications, available infrastructure, and the Investor’s requirements.
We manufacture any type of hammer crusher.
Advantages of Hammer Crushers
Hammer crushers provide efficient and versatile size reduction of materials with various physical properties.
Additional benefits include:
- High crushing capability
Reduce material from large lumps to very fine fractions, even down to powder - Versatility
Suitable for coal, limestone, glass, biomass, and recycled materials - Simple design and operation
Consist mainly of a rotor, hammers, and screens; easy maintenance and hammer replacement - Particle size control
Grain size is regulated by screen selection and rotor speed - High throughput
Able to process large material volumes, suitable for continuous operation - Handling of moist materials
Certain versions can process raw materials with increased moisture - Low investment cost
More economical than jaw or cone crushers - Wide range of applications
Can be used for both primary and final crushing, depending on configuration
