Multi-way distributors are devices used to direct a stream of bulk materials to a selected one of several possible outputs in transport installations.
Thanks to their design, they enable the operation of multiple receiving lines from a single material source, which significantly increases the flexibility and functionality of the raw material transport system.
Key elements of multi-way rotary distributors
A key element of multipath distributors is a rotating switching head or gate valve that allows for quick and precise redirection of flow to the selected channel. Control can be fully automatic – using electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators. Automation enables easy integration with process control systems and remote flow management.
Construction
Multi-way manifolds are designed to be tight and abrasion resistant, allowing them to work with a wide range of bulk materials – from light powders to abrasive and dusty raw materials.
Their design can be adapted to process conditions, including gravity, mechanical or pneumatic transport.
