Universal steel tanks are basic process and storage devices designed for storing liquids, semi-finished products, and bulk materials.
Their design can be adapted to a wide variety of applications, from simple storage tanks to advanced process reactors equipped with additional support systems.
The tanks are available in a wide range of capacities and structural configurations, which allows them to be adapted to the technological requirements of a specific installation.
They can serve as both intermediate buffers and process tanks in which additional operations take place, such as heating, cooling, mixing, or maintaining specific pressure parameters.
Depending on the specifics of the process, the tanks can be equipped with:
- Heating/cooling jackets or coils to maintain the temperature of the medium
- mechanical, propeller, frame, or turbine agitators ensuring homogenization and preventing sedimentation,
- connection pipes for measurement and automation systems,
- safety systems such as breather valves, overflow valves, and pressure safety devices.
Construction
The design of the tanks can be adapted to atmospheric, vacuum or overpressure conditions, depending on the process requirements and the type of substance stored.
Material:
- carbon steel – used for substances that do not require corrosion resistance, often with an additional protective coating,
- stainless and acid-resistant steels – used for chemically aggressive, hygroscopic media or those requiring compliance with hygiene standards (e.g., in the food and pharmaceutical industries).
Technical parameters
The technical parameters of the devices, their size and equipment are selected individually in each case based on the technical parameters, available infrastructure and the investor’s requirements.
We are able to produce any type of tank.
Advantages of tanks
Tanks and buffers in technological installations play a key role in stabilizing processes and increasing production safety and flexibility. They also improve product quality and the efficiency of the technological line.
Additional advantages include:
- Process stabilization
Buffers compensate for fluctuations in material flow and prevent production downtime. - Safety and reliability
Tanks serve as emergency reservoirs, allowing the installation to continue operating. - Installation flexibility
They facilitate process control, the connection of installations with different capacities, and maintenance without stopping production. - Improved product quality
They allow for material conditioning and reduce the risk of shortages when capacity changes. - Economic aspects
They reduce raw material losses, enable continuous line operation, and reduce the need for oversized equipment.
